Sail Numbers

You need to be a member of Windsurfing WA or any affiliated club to get an offical sail number.

When you join Windsurfing WA a sail number is automatically assigned by the Australian Windsurfing Assocation (AWA).  At present we don't have the technology to send you notification of the number you have been assigned.  To find out your sail number you need to check the AWA site.

If you wish to get a fancy custom number (yes AUS1, AUS11, AUS111 and AUS1111 are taken along with all the 8 options) check out what is available on the AWA register.  Once you have found a number you would like drop us an email (info@windsurfingwa.org.au) and a request will be raised with AWA.  Usually it will take a day or 2 to get approved.  Please read the AWA site carefully to avoid disappointment.
